I have been wearing glasses since I was in the 5th grade. I have had hot pink ones, light pink ones, wired ones, red ones and currently I am wearing black ones. BUT, when I stumbled across Warby Parker through Carly on The College Prepster Blog, I finally fell in love with buying glasses. You see, glasses are a pain in the butt: I need them to see but they are that thing you really don’t want to spend money on. Warby Parker are affordable, modern and cute. Plus, they will send you a trial frame set that you can try on and then send back when you figured out which one you look your absolute best in. These are the 5 I have picked to try on and even though I would love all of them, my budget is set for one. I’m thinking the Crane frame will be the most versatile and adorable; what do you think?

Zach and I haven’t bought new bedroom anything since we moved in together 3 years ago. Well, that might be a bit of an exaggeration… We did buy a dresser to match his, for me, and a bookcase to match both, but for the most part nothing else. We have been using the duvet cover I have had for over 5 years. Yes, I think it is time to redecorate.
I am so in love with the comfortable tranquility of blue, gray, brown and gold even though I had never really thought of it before. These images are a starting point for my inspiration. The best part is our furniture is already a modern dark wood so it will really be the accents that will have an overall. But it will be better than nothing, right? Xo.

For Christmas I received a gift card to J. Crew and was pretty ecstatic about it. The only problem is I want almost everything and I have an extreme fear of spending a gift card on the wrong item. I also want to get the most bang for my buck so I tend to stick to the factory store (which just so happens to have amazing sales almost everytime I visit the site) and can spend hours trying to pick out which piece I actually want. I have narrowed it down and hopefully will decide by the end of the week:
What do you think?

My obsession with bows (
for a twenty-six year old) has become almost embarrassing; yet, for some reason, I cannot stay away. A bow could be on a headband, a sweater, incorporated in jewelry, on a purse, on anything and I will want to own it. I have started to wonder if this need for bows will ever die down but then I think, no way – I am in love. Here are a few pieces that I would love to add to my collection.
